One day Ryan was booking an event for a group of friends and the guy on the phone said, "Good news.... if you can get one more person you'll get the group discount."He said, "What? We get a group discount if just one more person comes?"
"That's right," he said.
And the idea for aDealio was born. We love deals, and now we have a place to give them to you too. With your help, we can get the best deals in town because businesses agree to incredible prices since we're able to put their product or service in front of lots of potential customers.
Who is aDealio?

Ryan has been founding businesses for most of his life. Starting with a lemon-aid turned variety stand in his neighborhood as a boy, he eventually jumped on the computer bandwagon when he was 10 years old and began selling custom banners to neighbors that he printed on his dot-matrix printer using Print Shop Pro (on an Apple IIe computer!). After a while he moved to California and participated in the dot-com boom and bust and eventually found himself in the great State of Texas (after marrying a Texan, of course). Ryan graduated from Michigan State University and roots for the Longhorns unless they're playing MSU in the NCAA Tournament.

Jonathan graduated from the University of Texas in the mid-2000s and set off on his mission to make the Internet a better place, one website at a time. He cut his teeth building social-networking sites and spreading the gospel of Mozilla Firefox to his unenlightened, Internet Explorer-using followers. When he's not poring through server logs and writing extensive integration tests, he can usually be found watching Vince Young highlights or listening to relevant Indie music at obscene decibel levels. Jonathan also sports a middling golf handicap, yet expects to hit a hole-in-one every time he steps up to a par 3.
